I launched Social Triggers back in 2011, and it quickly became a top destination for business owners and entrepreneurs who are looking to get ahead in business and life.
To date, we’ve reached more than 5,000,000 people around the world, have customers in 69 countries, and we sell online education products and software.
And that’s why we need you.
We’d like to reach more people with our free content, online training courses, and software products.
And your main goal will be to identify potential strategic partnerships for Social Triggers, build the Social Triggers partnership program, and coordinate partnership promotions.
The ideal candidate will be great at managing relationships, extremely detail oriented (it’s tough to manage partnership promotions while accommodating busy schedules), and will thrive in a position that’s closely monitored and linked to bottom line business results.
Here are your responsibilities:
* Begin building the strategic partnership program for Social Triggers. You’ll need to find – and acquire – Strategic Partners who are interested in promoting Social Triggers online courses and software products. At first, you’ll focus on our software product, ZippyCourses.
* Be comfortable reaching out to people we have a relationship with and also people we don’t have a relationship with. You’ll need to build strong relationships with people and businesses of all sizes – from the fast growing startups in Silicon Valley to up and coming bloggers. Some of these people will be familiar with what we do – others won’t. You must be able to recruit both.
* You must be okay with starting from scratch. We’ve done very little with regard to attracting and managing strategic partners – and you’ll be responsible for starting (and shaping) our entire program from the ground up.
* You must be comfortable with seeing a strategic partnership from start to finish. You must create a list of partners, decide who to reach out to and when, schedule the promotions, monitor the results of those promotions, and ensure the strategic partners get paid.
* You must have the ability to think creatively about who we reach out to and why. Just because they have the ability to generate results doesn’t mean we want to work with those people. Our brand at Social Triggers is the most important thing hands down – and we only want to work with people who care equally about their brand.
Required Skills
* Strong excel skills are a must. You will be tracking the results of the strategic partnership program across various channels. We’ll want to know which partnerships to pursue and which to ignore – and the data you collect will help us figure it out.
* Strong project management skills. You’ll be working with several different partners with varying timelines. You must be able to manage the project and relationship from start to finish.
* You must have the ability to multi-task. You’ll be working with several different strategic partners are various points in their partnership cycle with Social Triggers. You must be able to manage that – and ensure everyone has a remarkable experience.
