So, someone wrote to me with a huge problem. I’ll call them Sam.
Sam: “Derek, I just launched my new thing and no one is buying it.”
Me: “Okay, let me ask you a question. How many people visited your offer page?”
Sam: “Oh, i don’t know. Like 47 people! And still. NO buyers. 47 people. NO BUYERS! Can you help me fix me sales page?”
Derek: “Dude. You don’t have a sales page problem—”
Sam: “But I didn’t make any sales!”
Derek: “I know. But you didn’t get anyone to actually visit your sales page. You have a traffic problem. You likely need to build your email list first. The bigger your email list, the more traffic you can send to your offer page… and the more sales you make.”
And that’s the lesson.
People often think they have a conversion problem. Or a sales page problem.
Most people often have a problem of “Not having enough eyeballs” seeing their product or service in the first place.
And that’s why it’s so important to build your email list.
