DAY 7

Your Day 7 Assignment

I hope you discovered and experienced all of the amazing benefits of walking. Not just the health benefits. But all the side effects that can boost your productivity, creativity, and relationships.

So, I hope you agree with Charles Dickens:

“Walk to be healthy, walk to be happy.”

Now to your final assignment of this challenge:

If you use all the tips and techniques we learned about throughout the week, you can easily walk 10,000 steps - every day.

And today, I want you to push yourself to reach that goal. It should be no problem if you follow all the steps.

Let’s do this...

Step 1: Go on a morning walk

Get up early. Before you turn on your computer or tackle whatever you have planned for the day… Go on a 30 minute walk.

Since it’s Sunday, how about you walk to your favorite Cafe and reward yourself with a croissant?

Step 2: Use all the walking hacks from Day 2

Remember all the walking hacks from Day 2?

Keep using them!

If you’re going somewhere or just doing chores around the house; you have plenty of ways to be just slightly “inefficient”... and get in lots of extra steps.

Take a look at the full list of walking hacks again.

Step 3: Go on a walking lunch

On Day 5 you invited someone to join you on a walking lunch.

Today I want you to go on a lunchtime walk again. But you don’t need to invite anyone. Go by yourself, with your family, or a good friend. Whatever you feel like.

Walk for 30-45 minutes.

Step 4: Go on an evening walk

Finally, I want you to end this challenge with a calm, 30 minute evening walk.

Maybe just walk around the block after dinner. Or walk to a nature place. No need for an agenda. Just take it easy and enjoy the walk.

You can - and should - feel good about yourself. You completed the full challenge. So take the time on this last walk of the challenge and show yourself some appreciation. It's ok to pat yourself on the back!

Finally…

Let's hear how this week of walking went for you. Which assignment was your favorite? Which ones was the toughest to complete? And will you KEEP walking?
