Remember, if you want people to sign up, you need to give them something they want. And let me ask you a question…

Do people ever really want “Free Updates?” Who wakes up and thinks, “I need me some free updates!”

No one.”

But when I look at your home page opt-in form, “Click to get free updates” and the “Free Update” link in the top right hand corner, I’m confused. Is this on on purpose? Are you using some double, reverse psychological technique to get me to opt-in?
